Rather than duplicate the efforts of programs with a proven track record, ImiCare provides the opportunity to reach the population we serve. If you would like to reach out to the foreign born population with products that empower, promote independence and further integration please call us at (703) 589-2215. ImiCare is currently seeking partnerships with support groups, women’s groups and youth clubs. BE A VOLUNTEER MENTOR Remember the challenges of integration? Looking back what would you have done differently? Would you have appreciated the counsel of someone who’d been in your shoes? ImiCare is looking for refugees and asylees in the country five years or more to mentor other refugees (individuals, couples, grandparents, single parents and teenagers). We will provide training and incentives. You must be willing to submit character references. BE AN EVENTS VOLUNTEER As a non-profit organization, we rely heavily on volunteers. Anytime you can give will be greatly appreciated. ImiCare is recruiting volunteers for the RIDD project and our organization's 5th anniversary celebration. If you are creative and love planning events, please call (703) 589-2215 and sign up to help. SUPPORT A WORKSHOP ImiCare’s workshops are free, but it costs the organization money to plan, advertise, and gather feedback from the attendees. And because the speakers charge nothing for their presentation, we would like to present them with a thank you gift each time.
