A community collaboration with ImiCare, Inc. and C&C Promotions

Project RIDD is a community response to the increasing number of refugee youth penetrating the
justice system.
The project will kick off with a display at the Black Family Reunion in September, continue
throughout the year with community events, and will include ongoing youth internships.
The community events will bring together legal experts, mental health specialists, family
therapists and other professionals to find a solution to juvenile delinquency. The community will
have an opportunity to share its concerns in this forum and get crisis intervention assistance from
ImiCare.
The music internship is aimed at prevention and will engage at-risk youth for one year.
